Returns and refunds
For consumer purchases you have seven days after the receipt of the goods during which you can cancel your purchase and return the goods to us for a refund. If you wish to do this please contact us in writing or by telephone within seven working days of delivery. If the goods are not faulty then you will have to return the goods to us at our offices at your own expense.
Under the Distance Selling Regulations you have a duty to take reasonable care of the goods whilst they are in your possession and we would ask that the goods are returned with their original packaging. Please take reasonable care that the goods do not get damaged in transit and that we receive the goods. If this care is not taken and the goods are damaged then we reserve the right to claim against the refund due to you for this breach of your statutory duty.
If the goods have been damaged in transit by your carrier then we will sign for them damaged so that you will then be able to claim against your carrier for this damage on their insurance.
We recommend packing the goods correctly to minimise the risk of any damage in transit.
This cancellation policy does not affect your legal rights — for example, if goods are faulty or mis-described.
Damage in Transit
You have a reasonable time under law to examine the goods to see if they are in good condition. But please if you spot any sign of damage to the outer packaging then please clearly sign for the goods as DAMAGED. If you fail to do so we will not be able to claim for the damage against the carrier. No other form of words such as 'unchecked' or 'unexamined' is acceptable, it must be DAMAGED if there is the slightest sign of a problem. This helps us to reduce our costs and to keep our prices low.
For business customers we reserve the right to reject claims where the goods we not signed for damaged.
